It was a gift and has yet to be used. However, tried it out in the house and worked well to get up from the kneeling position. Seems to be constructed very well. The only cumbersome thing is to flip the pad from kneeling to sitting position, maybe snap clips would be quicker?

Works out great as a kneeler but then flip it its a sturdy seat. If you wanted to make it better you could splayed the handles so it could be used as a stool or another improvement offset the handle pivot points so would fold perfectly flat. Angled handles when folded is cumbersome
